Tara Planeta ~ Founder, 1st Violin
Ms.Planeta holds a Master's Degree in Violin Performance, and is currently pursuing of Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership degree. She has performed with numerous ensembles across the nation including the National Philharmonic, Maryland Symphony,  Richmond Symphony, Arizona Opera, Phoenix Symphony, and was a long-time member of the Roanoke Symphony. Ms.Planeta has shared the stage with stars such as Liza Minelli, Wynnona Judd, Natalie Cole, Art Garfunkle, Aaron Neville, The Pointer Sisters, and many other renowned artists. She is the Executive Director of the Fauquier Youth Orchestra in Warrenton, and also maintains a full teaching studio with The Catoctin School of Music in Leesburg.

Laura Ibrahim ~ Violin, Viola
Mrs.Ibrahim is originally from Jacksonville, NC, where she started playing the violin in the Onslow County Public Schools. She attended East Carolina University where she double majored in music education and viola performance. Mrs.Ibrahim also earned her Masters Degree in Orchestral Conducting from ECU. She taught elementary strings in Fairfax County for three years and is now teaching orchestra for the Alexandria City Public Schools at Francis C. Hammond Middle School. Outside of music, Mrs.Ibrahim likes to run half marathons and plays in a competitive soccer league. She lives in Arlington with her husband and two tabby cats.
Laura O'Konski ~ Viola

Ms.O'Konski earned her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from George Mason University, and has studied at the graduate level at Shenandoah Conservatory.  She is an active performer in the Northern Virginia region, and recently retired from the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra. Ms. O'Konski is the Director of Orchestra and Chorus at Liberty High School in Bealeton, and has served as a conductor with the Fauquier County Youth Orchestra since 2015. She currently resides in Fredericksburg with her husband, two dogs, and two cats.

James Forry ~ Cello

Mr.Forry graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University with a degree in Music Education, and currently  teaches music for the Spotsylvania County Public Schools. He has held adjunct faculty positions at the University of Mary Washington and Randolph-Macon College. Mr.Forry also teaches privately at the WM Mason II Violin Shop in Fredericksburg, and is the principal cellist of the Piedmont Symphony. He is an avid mountain biker, has a wealth of knowledge of farm tractors, and is married to his college sweetheart with three beautiful children.
